Text
The department shall deposit the patients’ personal deposit fund in a commercial account
of a bank of reputable standing. When deposits in the commercial account exceed average
monthlywithdrawals,thedepartmentmaydeposittheexcessatinterest. Thesavingsaccount
shall be in the name of the patients’ personal deposit fund and interest paid on the account
may be used for recreational purposes at the mental health institute.
