If a patient was committed to a mental health institute for evaluation or treatment under
chapter812ortherulesofcriminalprocedure,furtherproceedingsshallbehadunderchapter
812ortheapplicablerulewhentheevaluationhasbeencompletedorthepatienthasregained
mental capacity, as the case may be.
