1.A college of pharmacy shall not be approved by the board unless the college is accredited by the accreditation council for pharmacy education.
2.An applicant who is a graduate of a school or college of pharmacy located outside the UnitedStatesbutwhoisotherwisequalifiedtoapplyforapharmacistlicenseinthisstatemay be deemed to have satisfied the requirements of section 155A.8, subsection 3, paragraph “a”, byverificationtotheboardoftheapplicant’sacademicrecordandgraduationandbymeeting other requirements established by rule of the board. The board may require the applicant to pass an examination or examinations given or approved by the board to establish proficiency inEnglishandequivalencyofeducationasaprerequisitefortakingthelicensureexamination required in section 155A.8, subsection 3.
