Text

1.A person, other than a pharmacy or wholesaler licensed under this chapter, shall not display in or on any store, internet site, or place of business, nor use in any advertising or promotionalliterature,communication,orrepresentation,thewordorwords: “apothecary”, “drug”, “drug store”, or “pharmacy”, either in English or any other language, any other word or combination of words of the same or similar meaning, or any graphic representation in a manner that would mislead the public.
2.A person shall not do any of the following:
a.Impersonate before the board an applicant applying for licensing under this chapter.
b.Impersonate an Iowa licensed pharmacist.
c.Use the title pharmacist, druggist, apothecary, or words of similar intent unless the person is licensed to practice pharmacy.
