Text
1.Sections 147.44, 147.48, 147.49, 147.53, and 147.55 shall not apply to the practice of
dentistry.
2.In addition to the provisions of section 272C.2, subsection 4, a person licensed by the
board shall also be deemed to have complied with continuing education requirements of this
state if, during periods that the person practiced the profession in another state or district,
the person met all of the continuing education and other requirements of that state or district
for the practice of the occupation or profession.
3.Notwithstanding the panel composition provisions in section 272C.6, subsection 1, the
board’s disciplinary hearing panels shall be comprised of three board members, at least two
of which are licensed in the profession.
