Text
1.Prior to representing or promoting alcoholic liquor products in the state, the broker
shall submit a completed application to the department electronically, or in a manner
prescribed by the director, for a broker’s permit. The director may in accordance with this
chapter issue a broker’s permit which shall be valid for one year from the date of issuance
unless it is sooner suspended or revoked for a violation of this chapter.
2.At the time of applying for a broker’s permit, each applicant shall submit to the
department a list of names and addresses of all manufacturers, distillers, and importers
whom the applicant has been appointed to represent in the state of Iowa for any purpose.
The listing shall be amended by the broker as necessary to keep the listing current with the
department.
