§ 49-5-160 — Definitions

As used in this article, the term:

(1)"Licensed" means an individual who has been licensed pursuant to Chapter 10A, 26, 34, or 39 of Title 43.
(2)"Organization" means a nonprofit charitable organization which is exempt from taxation under the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, which:
(A)Serves children who have run away or children who are homeless;
(B)Has qualified staff on duty at all hours the organization is open for service; and (C) Employs at least one individual who is licensed pursuant to Chapter 10A, 26, 34, or 39 of Title 43.
(3)"Qualified staff" means having:
(A)All staff who directly interact with children receive training on emergency evacuation procedures, service protocols, and the mandatory child abuse reporting requirements se
