Text

(a)There is created the Capitol Art Standards Commission, which is assigned to the office of the Secretary of State for administrative purposes only, as prescribed in Code Section 50-4-3 .
(b)The Capitol Art Standards Commission shall be composed of 16 members. Three members shall be appointed by the Governor, one of whom shall be designated as chairperson. Three members shall be appointed by the Senate Committee on Assignments and three members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. One member each shall be appointed by the Georgia Historical Society, the Georgia Council for the Humanities, and the Georgia Council for the Arts.
