Text

(a)For purposes of this Code section, "state sponsored life insurance program" or "program" means the life insurance program offered exclusively to all members of the Georgia National Guard as authorized by the federal Veterans' Insurance Act of 1974, P.L. 93-289.
(b)The adjutant general shall be the official sponsor of the state sponsored life insurance program.
(c)In the role of official sponsor of the state sponsored life insurance program, the adjutant general shall:
(1)Allow, facilitate, and coordinate all efforts to make the program available to all members of the Georgia National Guard;
(2)Provide an opportunity for members of the Georgia National Guard to purchase products of the program;
(3)Allow, facilitate, and coordinate requested allotments with the appropriate United St
