Text

Before entering upon the discharge of his or her official duties, the local school superintendent shall take and subscribe to the following oath of office: STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF __________________ I, __________________, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will truly perform the duties of local school superintendent of the __________________ School System to the best of my ability. I do further swear or affirm:

(1)That I am not the holder of any unaccounted for public money due this state or any political subdivision or authority thereof and that I will manage the finances of the local school system in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
(2)That I am not the holder of any office of trust under the government of the United States, any other state, or any foreign state
