Text
(a)Except as otherwise provided in this part, a majority of the members of the alliance then in office shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. No vacancy on the alliance shall impair the right of the quorum to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the alliance. The vote of a majority of the members of the alliance present at the time of the vote, if a quorum is present at such time, shall be the act of the alliance unless the vote of a greater number is required by law or by the bylaws of the alliance.
(b)The chairperson may designate from among the members of the alliance one or more committees, each consisting of two or more members of the alliance, which shall have and exercise such authority as the alliance may delegate to it under such procedures as the al
