Text
The executive director shall be responsible for implementing the policies of the commission and for the day-to-day operations of the commission. The executive director shall develop job descriptions for the necessary administrative, production, liaison, and clerical personnel and shall, at his discretion, hire staff necessary for the commission operations. The executive director, with approval of the commission and with advice from the agencies which use its services, shall seek ways to improve these services. To the extent delegated by the commission, the executive director shall represent the commission nationally and shall transmit and interpret the state's position on public telecommunications matters to national, regional, and state bodies as necessary and as directed by the commissio
