(a)Determination of priority. Subject to subsections (b) and (c) of this Code section, Article 12 of this title determines the priority of conflicting claims to Article 12 property when the priority rules of Article 9 of this title as amended by the Uniform Commercial Code Modernization Act of 2024 do not apply.
(b)Established priorities. Subject to subsection (c) of this Code section, when the priority rules of Article 9 of this title as amended by the Uniform Commercial Code Modernization Act of 2024 do not apply and the priorities of claims to Article 12 property were established before July 1, 2024, law other than Article 12 of this title determines priority.
