Text

Any person violating any provision of:

(1)This part relating to the inspection and sale of gasoline, kerosene, and other petroleum products; or (2) Code Section 10-1-164 providing for the regulation of signs advertising the price of motor fuel which are displayed by retailers of motor fuel; or (3) Any rule, regulation, or standard promulgated or adopted by the Commissioner of Agriculture or the Department of Agriculture under the provisions of any of the above shall be liable to a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000.00 for such violation. The Commissioner, after a hearing, shall determine whether any person has violated this Code section and upon a proper finding may issue his order imposing a civil penalty as provided in this Code section.
