Each certified law enforcement officer must successfully complete 4 hours of training in identifying and investigating human trafficking as part of the basic recruit training of the officer required in s. 943.13(9) or additional training required in s. 943.131(4). The training must be developed by the commission in consultation with the Department of Legal Affairs and the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking.
