Text
Whoever issues any note, bill, order, or check, other than foreign bills of exchange and notes or bills of some bank or company incorporated by the laws of this state, or by the laws of the United States, or by the laws of Canada, with intent that the same be circulated as currency, commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.083.
