Any person who transmits or publishes the number or code of an existing, canceled, revoked, or nonexistent telephone number or credit number or other credit device, or method of numbering or coding which is employed in the issuance of telephone numbers or credit numbers or other credit devices, with the intent to avoid or to cause another to avoid lawful charges is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
