Text
(1)The week of April 14 of each year is designated as “Move Over Awareness Week” to educate the motoring public on the dangers of failing to comply with the Move Over Act and to honor those who have been injured or killed by motorists who failed to move over pursuant to s. 316.126.
(2)The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, local governments, and other agencies are encouraged to sponsor events to promote public awareness of the dangers of failing to comply with the Move Over Act.
