Fees, administrative penalties, examination expenses, and other sums collected by the Agency for Health Care Administration under this part shall be deposited to the credit of the Health Care Trust Fund to be administered by the agency and shall be used to defray the expenses of the agency in the discharge of its administrative and regulatory powers and duties as prescribed by this part, including the maintaining of offices and necessary supplies, essential equipment and other materials, salaries and expenses of required personnel, and all other legitimate expenses relating to the discharge of the administrative and regulatory powers and duties imposed under such laws.
