Text

(1)The denial of an application for an insurance policy must be accompanied by the specific reasons for denial, including the specific underwriting reasons, if applicable.
(2)Each notice of nonrenewal or cancellation must be accompanied by the specific reasons for nonrenewal or cancellation, including the specific underwriting reasons, if applicable.
(3)No cause of action in the nature of defamation, invasion of privacy, or negligence shall arise against any person for disclosing personal or privileged information in accordance with this section, nor shall such a cause of action arise against any person for furnishing personal or privileged information to an insurance institution, agent, or insurance-support organization; however, this section shall provide no immunity for disclosing
