(1)DEFINITIONS. — As used in this section, the term:
(a)“Adjudication transaction fee” means a fee charged by the pharmacy benefit manager to the pharmacy for electronic claim submissions.
(b)“Affiliated pharmacy” means a pharmacy that, either directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries: 1. Has an investment or ownership interest in a pharmacy benefit manager holding a certificate of authority issued under this part; 2. Shares common ownership with a pharmacy benefit manager holding a certificate of authority issued under this part; or 3. Has an investor or a holder of an ownership interest which is a pharmacy benefit manager holding a certificate of authority issued under this part.
(c)“Brand name or generic effective rate” means the contractual rate set forth by a pharm
