(1)(a) Each appointed independent adjuster and licensed public adjuster must maintain a place of business in this state which is accessible to the public and keep therein the usual and customary records pertaining to transactions under the license. This provision does not prohibit maintenance of such an office in the home of the licensee.
(b)A license issued under this chapter must at all times be posted in a conspicuous place in the principal place of business of the licenseholder. If the licensee is conducting business away from the place of business such that the license cannot be posted, the licensee shall have such license in his or her actual possession at the time of carrying on such business.
