Text

(1)An applicant applying for a license as an occupational therapist or as an occupational therapy assistant shall apply to the department on forms furnished by the department. The department shall license each applicant who the board certifies meets all of the following criteria:
(a)Has completed the application form and remitted the application for licensure fee prescribed in s. 468.221.
(b)Has submitted to background screening in accordance with s. 456.0135.
(c)Is of good moral character.
(d)Has successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational program in occupational therapy recognized by the board, with concentration in biologic or physical science, psychology, and sociology, and with education in selected manual skills.
