Text

As used in this act, the term:

(1)“Association” means the Florida Occupational Therapy Association.
(2)“Board” means the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
(3)“Occupational therapist” means a person licensed to practice occupational therapy as defined in this act and whose license is in good standing.
(4)“Occupational therapy” means the therapeutic use of occupations through habilitation, rehabilitation, and the promotion of health and wellness with individuals, groups, or populations, along with their families or organizations, to support participation, performance, and function in the home, at school, in the workplace, in the community, and in other settings for clients who have, or who have been identified as being at risk of developing, an illness, an injury, a disease, a
