The agency shall conduct utilization review activities in intermediate care facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities, both public and private, as necessary to meet the requirements of the approved Medicaid state plan and federal law, and such facilities shall comply with any requests for information and documentation made by the agency and permit any agency inspections in connection with such activities.
