Text
(1)Any person whose license or registration shall have been suspended as herein provided; whose policy of insurance or bond, when required under this chapter, shall have been canceled or terminated; or who shall neglect to furnish other proof upon the request of the department shall immediately return his or her license and registrations to the department. If any person shall fail to return to the department the license or registrations as provided herein, the department shall issue a complaint to a court of competent jurisdiction which shall issue a warrant charging such person with a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. Such person shall surrender to the court his or her driver license, registration, and plates for delivery to the departm
