Text
On request, all departments, boards, or agencies of state or local government shall furnish to the public or department certified copies of specified deeds, plats, or other land records which are in their custody. This service shall be free of cost when possible; otherwise, it shall be at the actual cost of reproduction of the records. On the same basis, the department shall furnish such certified records within its custody to the public or other agencies or departments of state or local government, upon request.
