Text

Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, in the event that a county remits to a municipality, or has so remitted for any prior year, the identified cost of services or programs as described in s. 125.01(6), all or any part of the funds so remitted to the municipality may be further remitted by the municipality, acting as the agent of its citizens and taxpayers, to the taxpayers of the municipality.
