(1)There is established the William Cecil Golden Professional Learning Program for School Leaders to provide high-quality standards and sustained support for educational leaders. For purposes of this section, the term “educational leader” means teacher leaders, assistant principals, principals, or school district leaders. The program shall consist of a collaborative network of school districts, state-approved educational leadership programs, regional consortia, charter management organizations, and state and national professional leadership organizations to respond to educational leadership needs throughout the state.
