In implementing the provisions of ss. 402.22(1)(d) and 1001.42(4)(m), educational personnel in Department of Children and Families residential care facilities who are employed by a district school board may request, and the district school board shall accept, a lump-sum transfer of accumulated sick leave for such personnel to the maximum allowed by policies of the district school board, notwithstanding the provisions of s. 110.122.
