(1)The legislative budget request of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind shall be prepared using the same format, procedures, and timelines required for the submission of the legislative budget of the Department of Education. The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind shall submit its legislative budget request to the Department of Education for review and approval. Subsequent to the Department of Education’s approval, the Commissioner of Education shall include the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in the department’s legislative budget request to the State Board of Education, the Governor, and the Legislature. The legislative budget request and the appropriation for the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind shall be a separate identifiable sum in the public scho
