The assent of Legislature is given to the provisions and requirements of ss. 1444 and 1445 of the Act of Congress commonly known as the “Food and Agriculture Act of 1977” and all acts supplemental thereto. The Board of Trustees of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University may receive grants of money appropriated under said sections of said act and may organize and conduct agricultural extension work and conduct agricultural research, which shall be carried on in connection with the College of Engineering Sciences, Technology and Agriculture of said Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, in accordance with the terms and conditions expressed in the Act of Congress aforesaid.
