(1)The Florida Center for the Partnerships for Arts Integrated Teaching is created within the University of South Florida and shall be physically headquartered at the University of South Florida Sarasota/Manatee.
(2)The goals of the center are to:
(a)Conduct basic and applied research on policies and practices related to arts integrated teaching.
(b)Partner with interested Florida College System institutions and private educational institutions to conduct arts integrated educational research.
(c)Seek out agreements to provide technical assistance and support, upon request, to the Florida Department of Education, Florida school districts, private schools, charter schools, and educator preparation programs in the implementation of evidence-based arts integrated instruction, assessments
