Text

The registration fees for vehicles provided by this chapter shall be for a period of 12 months, but if the vehicle is registered or the registration renewed for a 6-month period, the applicant shall pay to the Department1/2of the annual registration fee and an additional fee of $1.00. If the registration is renewed for a 3-month period, the applicant shall pay to the Department1/4of the annual registration fee and an additional fee of $1.00. A renewal of a registration for a 3-month period shall be permitted only for a motor vehicle which has a gross registered weight of 18,000 pounds or more.
