Text

If the Court issues an order terminating existing parental rights and transferring them to DSCYF or a licensed agency, all of the following must occur:

(1)The agency shall attempt to promptly place the child for adoption.
(2)Every 6 months after the Court issues the order, or more frequently at the Court’s discretion, and until an adoption decree, guardianship, or permanent guardianship order is entered, the Court shall convene a hearing or require the agency to submit to the Court a written report that must include at least all of the following: a. Details of the agency’s reasonable efforts toward finalizing a permanency plan. b. A description of the steps the agency took to achieve the permanency plan. c. A description of barriers to the permanency plan and how the barriers may be
