(a)There is established within the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services ("DMHHS") the position of the Long-Term Care Strategic Coordinator ("Coordinator"), who shall be a full-time employee of the District. By January 1, 2026, the Coordinator shall be responsible for:
(1)Coordinating the Age-Friendly DC program;
(2)Tracking the long-term care services provided by agencies under the purview of DMHHS ("health agencies");
(3)Using data to develop a strategy to improve and increase the capacity of the long-term care services workforce to meet the District's needs;
(4)Identifying points of contact within each relevant agency outside of the health agencies, including the Deputy Mayor for Education and the Department for Aging and Community Living, to avoid du
