Appropriations are hereby authorized to carry out the provisions of this subchapter for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1938, and thereafter the Mayor of the District of Columbia is authorized and directed to include in his annual estimates such amounts as may be required for salaries and expenses incident to such purposes. Each member of the Zoning Commission and of the Board of Zoning Adjustment shall be entitled to receive compensation. Members of the Zoning Commission for the District of Columbia shall receive compensation in accordance with § 6-621.01(b) . No compensation shall be paid to a member of the Board of Zoning Adjustment who is also a full-time officer or employee of the District of Columbia government or who serves on the Board of Zoning Adjustment as a federal government r
