Text
(A)When a board, or the Mayor, after investigation but prior to a hearing, has cause to believe that a person is violating any provision of this subchapter and the violation has caused or may cause immediate and irreparable harm to the public, the board or the Mayor may issue an order requiring the alleged violator to cease and desist immediately from the violation. "(B) An order issued under subparagraph (A) of this paragraph shall be served by certified mail or delivered in person.

(2)A copy of the cease and desist order shall be served on the holder of a certificate of occupancy for the premises and on the property owner of record if each of these persons
