Text
(a)Notice shall be deemed to be served properly on the date when mailed by first-class mail to the owner of record of the vacant building at the owner's mailing address as updated in the real property tax records of the Office of Tax and Revenue, or when effectuated in the manner provided in § 42-3131.03 .
(b)In addition to furnishing notice in accordance with subsection (a) of this section, the Mayor shall cause notice to be posted on the premises.
(c)A courtesy copy of the notice provided pursuant to subsection (a) of this section shall be mailed or electronically mailed to the Advisory Neighborhood Commission in which the vacant building is located. The courtesy copy required by this subsection shall not be construed to satisfy, nor be construed as necessary to satisfy, the notice
