Text
(a)No later than [March 30, 2026], the Department shall, in consultation with the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and legal service providers, create and make publicly available a tangled title information sheet detailing the steps necessary, after the death of a real property owner, to legally transfer the real property to a decedent's heirs or legatees. The information sheet also shall include information on legal service providers who offer low-cost or no-cost representation in estate administration cases.
(1)No later than 5 days after the final disposition of the deceased, or at the time of providing to survivors of the deceased any death certificate or death certificates ordered by the funeral services establishment from the Department of Health, whichever occurs first
