§ 42-1657 — Defenses and immunities of receiver.

District of Columbia·Title 42 Real Property.·Ch. 16B Uniform Commercial Real Estate Receivership.
(a)A receiver is entitled to all defenses and immunities provided by law of the District other than this act for an act or omission within the scope of the receiver's appointment.
(b)A receiver may be sued personally for an act or omission in administering receivership property only with approval of the Superior Court that appointed the receiver.
