Text

As used in this division:

(1)The term 'core subject matter' means—
(A)mathematics;
(B)science; and
(C)English, reading, or language arts.
(2)The term “elementary school” means an institutional day or residential school, including a public elementary charter school, that provides elementary education, as determined under District of Columbia law.
(3)The term “eligible entity” means any of the following:
(A)A nonprofit organization.
(B)A consortium of non profit organizations.
(4)The term “eligible student” means a student who is a resident of the District of Columbia and comes from a household—
(A)receiving assistance under the supplemental nutrition assistance program established under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. § 2011 et seq.); or
