(a)The Chief Financial Officer shall have the power to enforce provisions of this chapter and shall make all necessary rules and regulations for this purpose and for carrying out, enforcing, and preventing any violation of any provision of this chapter; for investigation of potential and existing licensees of the Office; for inspecting licensed premises or enterprises; for auditing the books and records of sports wagering licensees; for insuring proper, safe, and orderly conduct of licensed premises or enterprises; and for protecting the public against fraud, deceit, deception, or overcharge.
