(a)Any statement that is obtained during a court-ordered examination, evaluation, or treatment, or any evidence resulting from that statement, is not admissible at any proceeding to determine a defendant’s guilt or innocence or to determine an appropriate sentence, except when the defendant puts his competence or mental health at issue in the proceeding.

(b)Any statement made by the defendant during a court-ordered examination, evaluation, or treatment, or any evidence resulting from that statement, concerning any other event or transaction is not admissible at any proceeding to determine the defendant’s guilt or innocence of any other criminal charges or to determine an appropriate sentence based on those events or transactions, except when the defendant puts his competence or mental h
