Text

(a)The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs shall be redesignated as the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection.
(b)The following functions and duties shall be transferred to the Department of Buildings by October 1, 2022:
(1)The functions of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs set forth in section III(A)(4 and 5) and (B)(3, 6 through 11) of Reorganization Plan No. 1 of 1983, effective March 31, 1983; and
(2)The functions and duties set forth in subchapter I of Chapter 1 of Title 2 .
(c)All staff, property, records, and unexpended balances of appropriations, allocations, and other funds available or to be made available relating to the duties and functions assigned in subchapter I of this chapter shall be transferred to the Department of Buildin
