Petition forms for candidacies for nomination by a political party to a state office, as defined in section 9-372, or the district office of representative in Congress shall be available from the Secretary of the State beginning on the one-hundred-fifth day preceding the day of the primary for such state and district offices. Petition forms for candidacies for nomination by a political party to the district office of judge of probate, state senator or state representative shall be available from the Secretary of the State beginning on the seventy-seventh day preceding the day of the primary for such office.
