Text

When a voting tabulator is purchased or leased or otherwise provided for use in any municipality, the Secretary of the State shall prepare or approve samples of the following printed matter and supplies and shall furnish one of each to the officials of such municipality who have so provided such tabulator in accordance with the provisions of section 9-238:

(1)Directions for testing and preparing the voting tabulators for the election;
(2)one certificate on which the registrars of voters can certify that they have properly tested and prepared the tabulator for the election;
(3)one certificate on which some person other than the registrars of voters who prepared the tabulator can certify that the tabulator has been examined and found to have been properly prepared for the election;
