Text
(a)Each candidate on a ballot for any election, as defined in section 9-1, may provide to the registrars of voters of any town in which such ballot shall be voted upon the name and contact information, including instructions regarding leaving a message, for an individual who should be notified in the event that the hours of a polling place may be or have been extended, as provided in subsection (b) of this section.
(b)If the registrars of voters of a town are aware of any proceeding in court or order of a court concerning the extension of the hours of any polling place in such town beyond those hours provided in section 9-174 or 9-438 , the registrars shall immediately notify any individual identified in subsection (a) of this section for each candidate on any ballot to be voted upon at
