(a)For purposes of this section, the following terms have the following meanings: “State building” means any building or facility owned or leased by the state of Connecticut and open to the public or intended for such use, exclusive of any shed, warehouse, garage, building of a temporary nature or building located on the grounds of a correctional institution; “proposal development expenses” means the cost of preparing a detailed drawing, model or plan as determined by the Department of Economic and Community Development; and “work of art” means art work which is to be an integrated part of such state building, including but not limited to, fresco, mosaic, sculpture and other architectural embellishment or functional art created by a professional artist, artisan or craftsperson, and any wo

P.A. 04-2, effective May 12, 2004, both replaced Connecticut Commission on Arts, Tourism, Culture, History and Film with Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism; P.A. 05-288 made technical changes in Subsec. (d), effective July 13, 2005; P.A. 08-78 made a technical change in Subsecs. (b) and (c), added new Subsec. (d) re maintenance account and redesignated existing Subsec. (d) as Subsec.
