(a)On registration in this state under section 45a-667r of a conservator of the person order from another state or under section 45a-667s of a conservator of the estate order from another state, the conservator may exercise in this state all powers authorized in the order of appointment, except as prohibited under the laws of this state, including maintaining actions and proceedings in this state and, if the conservator is not a resident of this state, subject to any conditions imposed on nonresident parties. The registration of a conservator of the person order under section 45a-667r shall lapse one hundred twenty days after such registration, except that the registration may be extended for good cause for an additional one hundred twenty days by the court of probate in this state having
